World Animal Day

Happy World Animal day!! It's been a long time since I've posted a Manicure Monday and I miss it very much. I may not have nail polish all the time because of my job in healthcare and I'm very glad you all understand that. But walking around without nail polish is really not my thing, so I'm happy to say that I'm going to continue with the Manicure Mondays.

Chaton

Look how adorable she looks. It took me nine years to finally get an acceptance from my parents to own a cat. I will never forget 10 August 2015. I was so nervous and everything kept going through my mind. Do I have everything?, will this be enough?… But the main question was still: will she like me?. Let me tell you how that journey went.

I have spend a week in the land of God’s. We went with 15 people (my friend Jamy, her parents and their family friends with their children) to an island in Greece. Crete, a beautiful island where you can dream, relax at the beach or by the pool or you can walk around and spend your time as a true tourist. 

Need a vacation

Here's one of my newest purchase from Essie. 'Need a vacation' is a beautiful soft pink colour which suits the pastel theme of this month. And the name of the nail polish comes in handy for my next travel update.

Hey sweeties!  Firstly, I wish you all a happy new year (better late than never). I have done so many things for the last couple of months. I also decided to take a long break from my blog. I really needed it even though I didn't expect it to be for that long. But now I'm back and I have lots of things to tell you.

I thought that it would be nice to share this with you all since I also post nail arts on my blog. I am not a nail art artist (yet), I have no degree or certificate, but I am doing this just as a hobby. You can read all about my love for nail polish here. Now let me show you what nail polishes I purchased lately.

Dinner and cocktails

Just when I thought my Friday would be calm. I am so glad that I could meet up with some friends for dinner and a drink. It was really needed because we haven't seen each other for months. 

Makeup shopping

I've told you this once and I will tell you again.  I am very very bad at doing my own makeup. But I am so glad I have heroines in my life. My eternal gratitude goes to my best friends and YouTubers who teach me all the tips and tricks. I now know what I will need to transform my face with makeup. Girls thank you so much!

After walking around without any makeup for two and a half months I had had enough. I will and shall teach myself how to do my own makeup. 

Rainy September

Hello everyone! And hello September. Time flies when you're enjoying fun times during the Summer. Or shall I say Autumn. We’ve had so many fluctuations with the weather. One day I could enjoy a beautiful summer day and the other days I just wanted to hide myself from the rain.

I feel a lot better now compared with last weekend and I'm glad it didn't last for long.

Purple, black and white

Hey sweeties. Today I went for darker colours because the weather looks so bad. The last few days we've had nothing but rain. It is like 28°C, but you will know that won't last long because of the dark clouds.

There are lots of people walking around without a coat, just like me. Unfortunately we also ran through the rain without a coat. So here I am

Fashion haul

I'm glad I made some time to go shopping during the sales month and of course during my stay in London. It was just me, myself and that 50% of sale. I'm normally used to sales that starts with 10% and then goes up to 30%, 50%,70% and 75% but some stores already started with 50% en 70%. I also purchased clothes that weren't on sale. And I want you to know that all these clothes and accessories are not bought in one day.

Dotticure

I was so happy when I received my dotting pens a couple of years ago.  My very first nail art was therefore a dotticure (manicure + dots).
