March favourites

Changing the season from Winter to Spring and also resetting the time an hour forward and all that in just one month. March was a very busy month for me with two birthdays within the family and more working shifts then I usually have. I am already glad to finally see more sunshine even though it can be chilly outside sometimes. The things I bought are mostly for the school trip I’m going on this month. Let me just show you exactly what I’m talking about.

Red lips don't care

I love red lipstick (on other girls) but I never had the guts to wear the daring colour myself. After waiting for a long time I came to a decision to get one anyway and of course it had to be a good one so I chose one of MAC and I love it. I don’t know how to put make up on properly like foundation or powder so I just do my eyes and wear lip balm or lip gloss.

February favourites

February was a strange month for me. I was hoping for snow since we didn’t had it during Christmas and in January but the sky kept dark and it didn’t stop raining which made it look like it was Autumn again. And as you may know, I got sick twice this month. I’m still dealing with a cold and a headache but I’m fine (I really am). So this month I had a thing with my hair. I still don’t know what products are the best for my hair so I have watched many videos on YouTube and I loved the results of a hair product which is called Mixed Chicks. No, don’t think the product can only be used by mixed people. You can use it whether you’re African, European, Asian, Latin, Mediterranean or any glorious combination of the above. I am by the way not an expert in hair products and things that has to do with the hair.

My January favourites

I decided to do a post about my January favourites because if I’ll wait any longer it won’t be of any use. January is the month of sales. You can find it everywhere in the supermarkets, at a drugstores and of course at the clothing stores. Despite the sales I didn’t buy much, which is very odd. Normally I’d set up an early alarm so I can be the first one at the mall to avoid all the craziness and drama women cause as soon as they see the word ‘sale’. Another reason for me not shopping is that my birthday was this month and I wanted to avoid buying things I might’ve received from friends and family, because that wouldn’t be the first time it happened. So I decided to buy just a few things I really needed instead.

B'day part 2

As you all know my birthday was last Monday. We celebrated at home with the family. I also planned to celebrate my birthday with my friends. And of course that had to happen at Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam
