February was a strange month for me. I was hoping for
snow since we didn’t had it during Christmas and in January but the sky kept
dark and it didn’t stop raining which made it look like it was Autumn again. And
as you may know, I got sick twice this month. I’m still dealing with a cold and
a headache but I’m fine (I really am). So this month I had a thing with my
hair. I still don’t know what products are the best for my hair so I have
watched many videos on YouTube and I loved the results of a hair product which
is called Mixed Chicks. No, don’t think the product can only be used by mixed
people. You can use it whether you’re African, European, Asian, Latin,
Mediterranean or any glorious combination of the above. I am by the way not an
expert in hair products and things that has to do with the hair.
Shampoo
This shampoo contains avocado oil which is good for
hydration. I always wash my hair twice with shampoo and I love the smell of it.
I’ve had shampoos which aren’t foamy so I had to use a large amount of it. This
shampoo is very foamy so make sure you use a small amount.
Everybody use conditioner on its own way. Some detangle
the hair while it’s wet and others don’t. A hairdresser ones told me not to do
it because your hair is the weakest while it’s wet. You actually don’t need to
comb your hair because this deep conditioner nourish, detangle and restore your
locks. So I used my fingers instead. If you have always combed your hair after
using conditioner then I suggest you to use a shower comb because the teeth are
wide (also called a wide tooth comb).
Leave-in conditioner
This is an alcohol free, non-sticky, lightweight
product that leaves your hair inviting to touch as it defines and locks
moisture into every curl, which sounds very good for my type of hair. You can
work a generous portion throughout wet hair after rinsing the deep conditioner
and style your hair as usual. You don’t need to rinse after applying.
Hair silk
This can be used on wet or dry hair and you can use it
as often as necessary. I use it on air
dried hair before styling my hair or after I’ve flat ironed my hair. Use a
small amount and apply from scalp to ends.
I’m going to use the product for a month to see if I
finally found the right products for my hair. Again, I am not an expert in hair
products or things that has to do with the hair. Enjoy your weekend and happy
international women’s day! xxx
Tnx miss
